However they seem lately to be more interested in welfare scroungers than the people out there who actually want to work. | I have paid £15.75 per month for over 20 years to British Gas for an annuual service and breakdown cover. I think this is expensive but have paid it because it gives me piece of mind, an annual checkup and same day service if I have an emergency (or so I thought) I have just rang to arrange my annual service to be told that if I want a time that is convienient, ie, when I am not at work, I have to pay an extra £3 per month. As I work in a school I cannot be at home m-f. Also they say the extra money will ensure same day service in an emergency, I thought that is what I was already paying for! I think it is a total rip off and would like to take my custom else where but having looked on the web it seems only British Gas do this. As for the last 5 years or so I have needed nothing other than a service I begrudge paying more. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| I'm doing a brochure on it for English class, and I've been reading up about it with several different articles. However, I feel like I might be missing something. I know that the conflict if between the Sudanese armed forces (specifically the Sudanese-backed militia known as the Janjaweed), and the Sudanese Liberation Army (SLA) and the Justice Equality Movement (JEM). I know that the Janjaweed have been attacking the civilian populations and ethnic groups that the rebels primarily draw their support from (the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa), while the rebels are attacking government officials. | What is the situation between Georgia, Ossetia, and Russia? My girlfriend (who is Russian so she must have bias) got me intrigued in the subject. I have seen videos and websites telling of how Georgia massacred Ossetia and Russia came to help; I have heard the president himself and running candidates say that we must get Russian troops away from Georgia. Some media says one thing, others say the opposite. I don't know who to believe and which facts are distorted. They don't know the whole story, the media lies and they believe every bit of it. | Ok so wednesday night i went out for some drinks came home 20 mins late my bf got mad we argued and then i threw something and because i said my life isnt worth living anymore cause he wouldnt talk to me and i wanted him to he thought i was trying to kill myself he came into the living room and checked under the blanket because i was laying on the couch to make sure i wasnt doing anything dumb and we argued a little more he walked away and i throw something i picked it up so he doesnt even really know what it was he just assumed it was a knife.. i do not really remember what i threw maybe my phone? idk.. but anyways he calls the cops and they come and they are telling him im getting in trouble either way and that if he is lying that he faces false statements or w.e i dont remember if i told the cops i threw a knife or not.. i dont think i did but i might of when they said he would get in trouble for false police statements.. but my bf said i didnt say it.. now hes trying to drop it.. but i dont really know what to do. im going to school for nursing im only 19 and have a 8 month old son this ruins my life i was trying to be the best.. and one night of going out which is the first time in like 2 years ruins everything.. my life, my future career i wanted. Now i might have to pay for a lawyer.. and my bf doesnt want to go against me in court, he might not be able to even go to court, but it just sucks because i know this will be hard to get dropped hes been sending the DA emails which is what they told him to do.. but its just bad so if me and him go to court were going to tell the truth how i said lifes not worth living, and he assumed i was trying to hurt myself which the cops looked at me and i wasnt theres no marks anywhere, and we argued dave walked to our bedroom while i was on our couch i throw something he assumes its a knife but isnt sure.. and w.e.. what are the chances this charge can be dropped or dismissed? if i could get it to just disorderly conduct i would be way happier then disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.. is there any chance of this happening? Will it be best if i get a lawyer instead of a public defender? do you think if i have a lawyer it will get dropped.. i mean this is dumb some people just throw things when they are mad.. I can be in a room by myself and throw my cell phone its not at anyone im just mad.. its better then actually going after someone and beating them.. i know its dumb i barely even do it but yea.. and if they hear that i said i was so mad i said my life isnt worth living, just to get my bf to talk to me plus i was drunk, would i be hospitalized? ADVICE please I know its long but PLEASE read... I am so unhappy I need this fixed.. and do you think i will be getting jail time? hunny i dont need anyone judging my family we are good parents and anyone can say what they want because of one fricken night of this, I take care of my son and the best for him, i teach him new things everyday I do not need anyone judging my family and telling me what I do wrong, there is no way i would consider putting my kid up for adoption he could end up in some family where they beat him, I know we are the best for him everyone makes mistakes, my boyfriend is a good guy we just had a disagreement that had alcohol involved, which made it worse, we just moved to WI from Idaho my boyfriend just got a new job which is a very good job he can make 60000 a year and he does it for me and my son even though he has to travel almost an hour everday, and we both go to school and have unconditional love for our son and eachother we just make mistakes. I dont need people judging me and saying im a bad parent take a look at your life im sure your not perfect. also i didnt throw it at my boyfriend. he was walking away and heard it hit the way he was in the hall and assumed it was at him, it wasnt. |
