| I've designed a small site for a friend that owns a local shoe store. He wants to put images of the shoes up on the website. He said I could grab them from the parent company. I told him those pictures were copyrighted and he needed permission from them before we could "copy&paste" images into his business website. What is the correct answer? If you are a reseller of say Nike running shoes, does that give you permission to use images of the shoes for your store's website? |

| I understand that indexes help make your queries faster and basically all it does is sort your information ahead of time. But what do you do about queries that don't use the data included in the index. For example, I have a table that contains a couple million records. The main query that is going to be used with be looking for the last name and the first and it will display a list of matches to the screen. Then when the right person is found, I want to go back and query the data for that specific person (address, phone, etc.) by looking for that records ID. So I set up an index for the last name and first name fields and it finds the list of matches very quickly, but when I go back and query the data for that specific record, it takes forever to find it. Can I have more than one index set up on table? (one for the last name and first name and another for just the record id) |

| I am supposed to write a program that computes tax on golf club sets. Then there is a totals button that is supposed to output how many sets have been sold. There is no output box for quantity though, so the way I know how to accumulate totals won't work. It has to somehow be done in the background every time the compute button is hit to add one to the sales count, but I can't figure out how to do it without an output box for sales. Any suggestions?
