| Ok here's the deal... I have a "message template" stored in MySQL. It's displayed using a simple $result = bla bla ... echo results; but the problem is... These templates need to display OTHER variables. For example template one has a large chunk of text with $date_long at the top. However, no matter what I do $date_long just shows the text of $date_long. Is there anyway for the text I write in the MySQL TEXT field (or others) to have a PHP named variable that was previously set (and still active - just won't display within the echo)? |

| How do you link more than one window together? I.e. When you run the program, it opens up with a main screen with a jFrame Form, then I want to be able to press a button, and have another screen open up, must that also be a jFrame Form? How do I get this working? I can't figure it out. I got this code from a friend, but I can't seem to get it working... example: If the current frame is called MainFrame and you wish to move to ExitFrame, I type... this.hide(); new ExitFrame().setVisible(true) and this.hide(); new ExitFrame().Show(); What's the difference between the two and which one must I use? And why don't they work? Must I use something other than jFrame Forms? Also, how do I fix a scroll bar to a text area so I can scroll up and down to read text?
