| If you divided 700 billion by 225 million (the number of US taxpayers over 18), you get $3,111 dollars per American. $3,111 is how much we as individuals are paying for this economic bailout package. Wouldn't you rather get that money in a check from them government than give it to rich Wall Street bankers? I'm not proposing a rebate check, only pointing out how much we are paying for this as individuals. I propose not bailing them out. | I dreamt about September 11ths events on the night of September 10th. I had another disturbing dream last night, which I'll describe further down. I should say that I'm skeptical of all things vaguely spiritual or occult. It's not my thing. However, this happened to me so I have to be open minded about it. I think perhaps it's possible to pick up on things that are out there in a kind of global subconscious. That dream, more precisely, was that a plane came toward me and crashed. Immediately, another plane came toward me and crashed next to it. They crashed into a field, but I was very aware of the skyscrapers in the background. After this, there was general confusion, and then a seemingly endless line of people dressed in black holding poppy wreaths started filing into a nearby cemetery. On September 11th, when I saw the plane hitting the 1st tower, I was waiting with dread for a 2nd plane. Could be a coincidence, but it had a very profound effect upon me. Last night I dreamt of plane after plane crashing in New York. They were passenger jets - one was orange, yellow and white, others were green and white. This was different to my other dream. There was no panic afterwards, no mourning, just a general sense of there being a big problem. There didn't seem to be a malicious threat, although we were frightened. I, and the person I was with, made for the train station but had to stop off at an ATM first. I couldn't get any money because I had to complete a quiz about international geography first and I didn't know all of the answers. Have you had any similar dreams, and what do you think of mine? Thought I'd add that no, I'm not American, I'm English. My husband is from the US, so I follow your news quite closely, although I didn't know him in 2001. What with New York being 6 hours behind us over here, it was only a short while after I'd woken on 9-11 that the news started to break. Yeah, it did freak me out and I felt very close to it all for someone a very long way away - I still do. Don't think I really have a right to though! As for calling the local police station I'm sure that if I did that I'd give them all a good giggle over their sandwiches and little else. |

| I tend to agree that the official accounting that a passenger jet hitting the Pentagon on 911 does not add up. But the one glaring problem I have found is the light poles that were knocked over, being clipped by the wing span of the jet. If it wasn't a passenger jet that did that, then what was it? Why were the poles knocked over? I've been watching documentaries of the alegations that it was an inside job, and seen computer animations that show the light poles being knocked over by the wing span of the jet, but none of the documentaries explain about the light poles, only that the hole in the Pentagon does not fit the size of the jet, and the lack of wreckage -- that I will agree with. But the light poles -- that is a serious question I have not seen answered. Anyone have an answer? Peace Jim There are 5 frames of the impact released. 40 cameras could have caught the impact. | I was filling up at a Circle K and noticed that the gas smelled like alcohol. I mean, I didn't even get the usual aroma of gasoline. I know that some of the cheaper brands supplement 10% ethanol. So next time I filled up at Exxon - Same thing. I really think they're pulling one on us. I think that the gas they're selling nowadays has WAY more ethanol than they're telling us about. Which means that things are WAY worse than we could imagine. Notice the smell? |

If every one of them bought a 3 million dollar home and defaulted, it's 900 million. Add in investor profit at 100 percent and it's 1.8 billion. So where does it jump to 700 billion? |

| If the government is using "our" tax dollars to bail these companies out by purchasing our mortgages, then technically isn't my mortgage paid off? But yet they can still come and foreclose on my house. The other thing is that these companies didn't want to be under government scrutiny, but now they want the governments help to get back on their feet. It really makes me very uncomfortable. If we bail these companes out, what is their incentive to be more careful with their funds next time? Maybe they shouldn't have paid their execs. such big bonuses. |
